A considerable amount of planning, preparation and commitment occurs during the 2 weeks prior to the commencement of a training program. Hence, Pettitech asserts the need to protect its efforts and administration costs by implementing the following cancelation policy. For the purposes of this document, the business “Pettitech” and the lead instructor “Gordon Pettit” can be considered as one and the same thing. ITEMIZED POLICY: 1. Pettitech generally requires full payment at least 1 week prior to the commencement of any of its’ training programs. However, some exceptions may apply for custom or exclusive training. 2. As a matter of necessity, Pettitech at its own discretion, may cancel a course based on insufficient commitment from participants. To clarify, if a course was scheduled for a certain time and location, and the necessary minimum number of registrants was not secured for that location four days prior to the commencement of the course, then Pettitech may decide to cancel the course. In such a situation Pettitech will fully, promptly refund any fees that have been paid in advance for the course. 3. If a confirmed registrant wishes to cancel their registration and request a refund, such a request must be submitted by email to info@pettitech.com not less than one week prior to the course commencement. Any funds paid will be fully reimbursed. 4. No refunds will be paid during the week prior to the commencement of a course; except as per item number 2. 5. A request to transfer a registration to a different person will be considered not less than 2 days prior to the commencement of a course. Requests must be emailed to info@pettitech.com. 6. If unforeseen events -such as inclement weather or pandemic circumstances- make it necessary to cancel a class or course, Pettitech will provide a make-up session, generally 1 week after the cancelled day. If the cause that necessitated the postponing of a class or a course is due to a fault on Pettitech’s part then a request for a proportionate refund will be respected and granted. Notwithstanding, if the cause is not due to a fault of Pettitech, then prompt rescheduling of the training will be implemented. 7. For greater clarity, if a circumstance not caused by Pettitech necessitates that a course be paused or postponed, the course will be rescheduled and no refund will be paid out.
